Rare limited edition 17/700 Dutch Beer Stein Pair in Presentation Box Commemorating Amsterdam's 700th Anniversary. Pewter lidded tops read: 700 JAAR AMSTERDAM 1275-1975. Each stein measures 5-1/2" high, base diameter 3-1/2" The scenes represent the boys and girls orphanages of early Amsterdam: Jongens-Burger-Weeshuys and MeysiesBurger-Weeshuys. Steins are in wooden presentation box with rendering of Amsterdam. On the case, a small chip of wood missing. (See photo). Purchased by seller in Amsterdam in 1975. Steins have not been used. Only 700 sets were made and this is a low number 17/700 and a prized collectible.
