The National Idea Bank is a collaboration among academia, government, and industry and is aimed at addressing indigenous problems using technology and innovations in business and governance models. The NIB was inaugurated by the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, on February 4, 2021, The National Idea Bank launched its first official call for ideas on 27th September 2021. With the advent of the knowledge age, there is an ever-existing need for innovation to tackle the problems we face, especially in Pakistan where the need for solutions to the problems is much greater. Academia, in Pakistan, has the potential to come up with feasible solutions to such problems and the industry has the resources to provide them with the platform. NIB plans to bridge the gap between Academia and the Industry and help come up with innovative ideas for the future of the Country. National Idea Bank will be hosted by 12 cities, UET Peshawar is the city host for Peshawar Region and the event is set to take place from 23th to 25th November 2021. We are pleased to announce that CEO FES Pakistan Syed Tehsin Shah has been nominated as the judge in the National Idea Bank competition being hosted by UET Peshawar on 23rd and 24th November 2021. It is a good opportunity for the students to share their ideas and get the necessary directions and guidance from experts to excel.
